Soccer Game Preview: Kenwood vs. Henry County

The Kenwood Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Henry County Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenwood's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Thursday, Kenwood came up short against Greenbrier and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that Kenwood have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Kaden Dorsey, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Henry County waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Coyote get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Henry County found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Demitrios Noles and Slayden Hosford were both handed yellow cards.

Kenwood's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Henry County, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Kenwood might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Henry County in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
