Baseball Recap: Middlesex's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lawrence Academy, Middlesex was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Thayer Academy Tigers a 3-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Middlesex as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Colt Bagnulo was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Middlesex's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Thayer Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Middlesex is taking a road trip to challenge Phillips Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Thayer Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
