It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-15, which was the final score in the Prairie Mustangs's tilt against the Arickaree Bison on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairie wouldn't let Arickaree keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Beau Carlson, Walker, and Schock picked up one apiece. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards.
Arickaree was led to victory by Austin Wright and Zarron Skubal. Wright rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown, while Skubal picked up 32 receiving yards. With that strong performance, Wright is now averaging an impressive 111.5 rushing yards per game.
Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Arickaree, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Prairie will challenge Briggsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arickaree, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Otis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Arickaree focused on turnovers this week as team gave up five on Thursday.
