Soccer Recap: Loretto Comes Up Short

Loretto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Culleoka Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Culleoka this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 last Tuesday.

Loretto's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Culleoka, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Loretto will take on Cornersville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Loretto will need to watch out since Cornersville have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests. As for Culleoka, they are taking a road trip to square off against Richland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
