Basketball Recap: Kimora Pryor's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Rusk over Arp

West Rusk fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Arp on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Arp Tigers 52-46. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kimora Pryor, who posted 23 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Pryor continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Even though they lost, West Rusk smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.

West Rusk's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Arp, their victory bumped their record up to 9-19.

West Rusk will take on Gladewater at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arp, they will square off against Troup at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
