Volleyball Recap: Mid-Carolina Extends Winning Streak to Four

Mid-Carolina waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Columbia Capitals as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mid-Carolina was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-7.

Mid-Carolina's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Columbia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mid-Carolina will take on rival Chester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Columbia is set to challenge their familiar foe Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
