Volleyball Recap: Sutherland's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sutherland waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eastridge Lancers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Sutherland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-20.

Sutherland was led to victory by Grace Lee and Lauryn Lee. Grace had 17 assists and ten digs, while Lauryn had 12 assists and six digs. Those 17 assists gave Grace a new career-high.

Sutherland's record is now 29-2-2. As for Eastridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Sutherland will host Mendon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eastridge has already played their next contest (against Pittsford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
