Baseball Recap: Ridley Comes Up Short

Ridley lost against Haverford back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raiders took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fords. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 3, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Ridley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Mansfield, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another was Justin Teehan, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Ridley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Haverford, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Ridley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Haverford, they will challenge Downingtown East at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
