Basketball Recap: Grant County Takes a Loss

Grant County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 70-54 bruising from the Spencer County Bears. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 67-55 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grant County's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Spencer County, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Grant County has already played their next game, a 67-46 win against Owen County on the 20th. As for Spencer County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-48 defeat against South Oldham on the 21st.
