Basketball Game Preview: Palmyra Panthers vs. Wahoo Warriors

The Palmyra Panthers will square off against the Wahoo Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Palmyra was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 36-31 to Nebraska City.

Meanwhile, Wahoo beat Plattsmouth 47-38 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Palmyra better keep an eye on Gretchen Seagren. She was instrumental in Wahoo's win, almost dropping a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. That's the most points Seagren has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Erin Golladay, who had nine points and five steals.

Palmyra has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Wahoo, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.
