Baseball Recap: Claiborne Christian Takes a Loss

If Claiborne Christian was riding high fresh off their 15-5 takedown of Union Parish last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quitman Wolverines on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost eight in a row.

Claiborne Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Quitman, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

Looking ahead, Claiborne Christian will square off against Franklin Parish at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Quitman, they will take on Simsboro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
