Basketball Game Preview: Bothell Cougars vs. Eastlake Wolves

Bothell and Eastlake are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Cougars will square off against the Wolves at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bothell is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Bothell is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-30 win over Juanita. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cougars' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Ravens are ranked 137th).

Charlotte Lipkin had another great game (as she tends to do), going 7-for-11 en route to 23 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kayleah Hawkins, who had six points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eastlake, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down Issaquah 59-43 on Friday.

Bothell's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Eastlake, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Bothell beat Eastlake 61-50 in their previous matchup last Wednesday. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
