Baseball Recap: England Takes a Loss

If England was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Hazen last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The England Lions fell 6-1 to the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

England dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Palestine-Wheatley, their record is now 4-5.

Looking ahead, England will head out on the road to take on Des Arc at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palestine-Wheatley, they will be playing at home against McCrory at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
