Basketball Recap: Robeson Business Tech Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Robeson Business Tech took on Martin on Saturday. The Eagles fell 56-49 to the Falcons. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Robeson Business Tech saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ian Jones almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine blocks. Those nine blocks set a new season-high mark for Jones. Another player making a difference was Bryce Hall, who posted ten points.

Robeson Business Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Robeson Business Tech will look to defend their home court on Monday against Brooklyn Law & Tech at 6:00 p.m. As for Martin, they will square off against Springfield Gardens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
