Basketball Game Preview: West Point Pointers vs. Westmoreland Eagles + Official Tickets

The West Point Pointers will take on the Westmoreland Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Point will be strutting in after a victory while Westmoreland will be coming in after a defeat.

West Point is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Carver College and Career Academy 51-9 back in December of 2025. The win continues a trend for the Pointers in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Westmoreland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. 2026 welcomed they with a 46-26 loss courtesy of Essex. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The victory got West Point back to even at 2-2. As for Westmoreland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

West Point and Westmoreland were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but West Point came up empty-handed after a 40-39 loss. Can the Pointers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
