Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). They enjoyed a cozy 39-24 win over Gateway Tech on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Roughriders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Vashon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Roosevelt, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
