Baseball Recap: Thomasville Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Thomasville came up short against Trinity, falling 17-1. Thomasville hasn't had much luck with Trinity recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Thomasville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah McNeair, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Thomasville's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Trinity, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

While Thomasville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
