Volleyball Recap: East Palestine Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

East Palestine waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Southern Indians. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

While East Palestine might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Southern scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 19-25, 25-22.

Amara Wilson paced East Palestine's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wilson got some help from Cami Kridler and her 15 assists. Wilson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

East Palestine's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Southern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East Palestine is set to challenge their familiar foe Wellsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Southern will face off against rival David Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
