Flat Rock had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Erie-Mason Eagles on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Flat Rock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Huron on the 21st. As for Erie-Mason, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Summerfield at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. The matchup will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
