While Friday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Dylan Benedict. He wasn't messing around on Friday, striking out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with zero or fewer earned runs.
