Basketball Game Preview: Teague Lions vs. Buffalo Bison

Teague and Buffalo are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Teague Lions will square off against the Buffalo Bison at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Teague challenged Westwood on Friday. Teague was dealt an 87-33 loss at the hands of Westwood. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1161st, while the Panthers are ranked 252nd).

Meanwhile, Buffalo had to suffer through a 75-43 loss at the hands of Fairfield. The Bison have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Teague, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

Teague came up short against Buffalo when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 53-42. Can Teague avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
