They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to BigTyme Prep Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Texas Lions HomeSchool lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jon Hadnot, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel De oliveira, who scored 11 points along with four steals.

Texas Lions HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for BigTyme Prep Academy, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Texas Lions HomeSchool will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Varsity Opponent at 10:00 a.m. on January 20th. As for BigTyme Prep Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeastern Prep Academy Coastal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
