Marin Catholic faced Thousand Oaks in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on five straight.

Marin Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Thousand Oaks, they moved to 25-2 with that loss, which also ended their 19-match winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marin Catholic will welcome Terra Linda at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Thousand Oaks, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Agoura at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
