Basketball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jasper County Hurricanes. The Seminoles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Salem's record is now 7-14. As for Jasper County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Salem has already played their next contest (against Drew Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jasper County has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Social Circle.
