Baseball Game Preview: Prattville Christian Academy Panthers vs. Montgomery Academy Eagles

For the second straight game, Prattville Christian Academy will face off against Montgomery Academy. The Panthers will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Prattville Christian Academy's favor as the team sits on 15 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Montgomery Academy has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

On Friday, Prattville Christian Academy made easy work of Montgomery Academy and carried off an 11-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Ethan Walls spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Blake Bowman, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Lawson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Prattville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Montgomery Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
