Preview: Neighborhood House Charter Legends vs. Maimonides M-Cats
The Neighborhood House Charter Legends will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Maimonides M-Cats at 8:00 p.m. on February 10th. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Neighborhood House Charter scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 108-71 win over New Mission/Boston Community Leadership Academy on the road. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Tavon Rhodes was his usual excellent self, scoring 39 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Neighborhood House Charter's points. Juelz Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Maimonides put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Whitinsville Christian with a sharp 59-35 victory. That's two games straight that Maimonides has won by exactly 24 points.
Neighborhood House Charter is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Maimonides, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0.
