Soccer Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Highland Bulldogs an easy 4-0 win. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Highland, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Silverado at 4:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Highland will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Palmdale at 4:30 p.m. on January 15, 2025.
