Softball Recap: Allegan Comes Up Short

Galesburg-Augusta hit Allegan with a six-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers lost 14-3 to the Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 on Thursday.

Allegan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alaina TerMeer, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Allegan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Galesburg-Augusta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Coming up, Allegan will head out on the road to take on Bridgman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Galesburg-Augusta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hackett Catholic Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
