Football Recap: Great Falls Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Great Falls had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it six. They had to suffer through a 41-6 loss at the hands of the Lamar Silver Foxes. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

As for Lamar, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points over those games.

Lamar's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zori Pierce led the charge by rushing for 138 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Tj Samuel was in the mix too, providing the Silver Foxes with two TDs.

Great Falls didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-16 defeat against C.A. Johnson on the 17th. As for Lamar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 41-0 win against Lee Central on the 17th.
