Volleyball Recap: West Iron County Comes Up Short

If West Iron County was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Iron Mountain on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wykons lost 4-1 to the Norway Knights on Monday. The Wykons haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

West Iron County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Norway, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season.

West Iron County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Forest Park on the 21st. As for Norway, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Carney-Nadeau on the 21st.
