Baseball Recap: Wyoming Area Warriors vs. Valley View Cougars
Wyoming Area's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Valley View Cougars 4-2. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.
Alex Vacula made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double.
