Baseball Recap: Saint Ignatius College Prep Comes Up Short

Saint Ignatius College Prep managed to slip by Huntley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolfpack came up short against the Red Raiders on Saturday, falling 8-2. The Wolfpack's loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Alec Gunderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Saint Ignatius College Prep now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Huntley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Saint Ignatius College Prep will challenge Fenwick at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Huntley, they will welcome Prairie Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
