Softball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia's last matchup with York County Tech could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. Columbia came up short against York County Tech, falling 29-5. The defeat leaves the Crimson Tide still looking for their first win of the season.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for York County Tech, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will take on Annville-Cleona at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for York County Tech, they will face off against York Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. York Catholic has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.25 runs per game on average), something York County Tech will no doubt try to take advantage of.
