Mount St. Mary waltzed into their match on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Liberty Hill Panthers.

Ella Hale paced Mount St. Mary's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hale got some help from Jentri Denwalt and her 25 assists.

Despite the loss, Liberty Hill had strong showings from Summer Snyder, who had 15 digs and two assists, and Macee Walters, who had six kills. Snyder has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Mount St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Liberty Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7.
