Basketball Recap: Central Decatur Skates Past East Union with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southeast Warren, Central Decatur was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the East Union Eagles 70-28. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Central Decatur has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.7 points. As for East Union, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Central Decatur wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-51 loss against Chariton on the 25th. As for East Union, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the East Union Eagles challenge the Wayne Falcons on Monday. One thing working in Wayne's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
