Wiregrass Ranch came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Wesley Chapel Wildcats as they made off with a 13-2 win. The Bulls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by nine runs or more this season.

Aubrey Zechmann was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing five bases while going 4-for-4. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kayla Valentin, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Wiregrass Ranch was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in four consecutive games.

Wiregrass Ranch's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Wesley Chapel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Wiregrass Ranch and Wesley Chapel should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Bulls (ranked 85th) will meet Zephyrhills (ranked 349th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wesley Chapel will challenge Gulf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (155 vs. 354).
