Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Heights Huskies vs. Western Boone Stars
Hamilton Heights lost to Western Boone back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Huskies came out on top against the Stars by a score of 2-0. The game was the first time the Huskies have beaten the Stars on their court since August 20, 2016.
While Hamilton Heights might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Western Boone scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21.
Macie Smith paced Hamilton Heights' offense, picking up ten kills. Smith got some help from Sierra Bramel and her four assists. Finally, Celeste Wiegman kept Hamilton Heights' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
