Basketball Recap: Laton Falls to Tranquillity in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Laton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 67-19 defeat at the hands of the Tranquillity Tigers on Tuesday. The Mustangs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Paxton Gravance was Laton's leading scorer, having posted six points. Blake Alford held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds. Jesus Saavedra took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Tranquillity now has a winning record of 3-2.

Laton has already played their next game, a 75-8 loss against Riverdale on the 4th. As for Tranquillity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-27 win against Alpaugh on the 3rd.
