Baseball Recap: Peters Township Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Peters Township can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Peters Township saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Oberschelp, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Peters Township's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Peters Township nor Lampeter-Strasburg have any future games scheduled.
