Soccer Recap: La Joya Takes a Loss

La Joya managed to keep up with Weslaco until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The La Joya Coyotes came up short against the Weslaco Panthers, falling 4-0. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

La Joya now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Weslaco, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Joya will take on Edinburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Weslaco, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Weslaco take on the Edinburg North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
