Softball Recap: Anthem Prep Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hayden on Thursday, Anthem Prep came back down to earth. Anthem Prep came up short against the Kingman Academy Tigers on Friday, falling 12-1.

Anthem Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Evjen, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Anthem Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Kingman Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-2-1.

Anthem Prep has already played their next match, an 18-3 loss against Browne on the 21st. As for Kingman Academy, they will face off against Wickenburg at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
