Soccer Recap: Cranston East Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cranston East's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scituate Spartans on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Cranston East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Rhode Island soccer rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Scituate are ranked fifth).

Cranston East's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8-1. As for Scituate, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-1-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Cranston East nor Scituate have any future games scheduled.
