Basketball Recap: Worthington Christian Takes a Loss

Worthington Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bexley Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-41 back in January.

Worthington Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Bexley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.

Looking ahead, Worthington Christian will head out on the road to challenge Grandview Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Worthington Christian is facing Grandview Heights at the right time seeing as Grandview Heights is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Bexley, they will square off against Whitehall-Yearling at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
