Basketball Game Preview: Peotone Blue Devils vs. Beecher Bobcats

Peotone is 2-8 against Beecher since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Peotone Blue Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Beecher Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Peotone will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Peotone didn't have too much trouble with Grant Park as they won 67-52.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Beecher duked it out with Wilmington on Thursday. Beecher walked away with a 46-38 victory over Wilmington. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Peotone pushed their record up to 15-13 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points over those games. As for Beecher, their record now sits at 18-12.

Peotone and Beecher were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but Peotone came up empty-handed after a 55-54 loss. Can Peotone avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
