Soccer Recap: Freeland Takes a Loss

Freeland lost against Garber back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons fell just short of the Dukes by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, Freeland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 184th, while Garber are ranked 43rd).

Freeland's loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Garber, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1-1.

Looking ahead, Freeland will take on Frankenmuth at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Garber, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Central on the 3rd.
