Volleyball Recap: Purcell Marian Comes Up Short

Purcell Marian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Seven Hills Stingers.

While Purcell Marian ultimately came up short, they really made Seven Hills work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 26-24, 25-17.

Purcell Marian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Seven Hills, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Purcell Marian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place on the 13th. As for Seven Hills, they will square off against Cincinnati Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
