Softball Recap: Bishop Alemany Has No Trouble Against Chatsworth

While Bishop Alemany put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Chatsworth. Bishop Alemany put the hurt on Chatsworth with a sharp 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Kalie Peralta was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. Peralta was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Charlotte Riggen was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Sienna Valadez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Bishop Alemany was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chatsworth only posted a batting average of .150.

Bishop Alemany's record is now 9-3. As for Chatsworth, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Bishop Alemany has already played their next contest, an 8-5 loss against El Camino Real on the 28th. As for Chatsworth, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Village Christian on the 29th.
