Basketball Recap: Killingly Comes Up Short

Killingly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 55-45 to the Waterford Lancers. The Trailbazers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in January.

Killingly's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Waterford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Killingly and Plainfield will round out the year against one another at 11:30 a.m. on the 29th. Waterford will take on St. Bernard in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
