Baseball Recap: Northwest Grizzlies vs. Goddard Lions
Northwest extended their losing streak to six on Wednesday, dropping them down to 9-11. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Goddard Lions. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
As for Goddard, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.25 runs across that stretch.
