Don Bosco Prep came tearing into Friday's contest with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the River Dell Golden Hawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ironmen also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2018.

Don Bosco Prep's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for River Dell, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Don Bosco Prep will take on Paramus Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River Dell, they will square off against Indian Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
